As the UK transitions to a high skill, low carbon economy, we have set out to better understand the energy sectors’ current capabilities and future skills requirements, building on our existing energy sector knowledge and experience in Hydrogen technology and systems integration.
Our Skills Academy, located in Aberdeen, aims to build on our existing track record of delivering ‘best in class’ training and competency assessment in fluid transfer, power and control solutions, as we integrate the Hydrogen training and competency programmes on design, integration, commissioning, operating, maintaining and on-site testing of Hydrogen systems to support the energy market.
Working in partnership with industry, academia, government and key energy sector stakeholders, our technical training portfolio draws on decades of industry knowledge and our pre-eminent experience in hydrogen technology and systems integration.
The purpose-built Academy hosts a wide range of accredited technical courses, led by experienced trainers and comprises a mix of classroom work, practical experience and competence assessment, underpinned by the three pillars of Safety, Skills and Standards.
