Test & Flush Technician - Glasgow (Ref: 1230)
We are recruiting for a Test & Flush Technician to be based from our Glasgow operations to plan and conduct accurate and efficient testing and flushing of a variety of hoses and engineered systems which contain primarily hydraulic and gas components. In the role, you will assist in the achievement of our corporate goal, to provide 100% customer satisfaction by delivering high quality solutions on time. It is expected that you will work independently with minimum supervision and will frequently interact with customers to perform witness testing.
Ideal candidates will have experience working within a workshop environment in a mechanical discipline, experience in the operation of pressure testing and flushing equipment would be advantageous.
Essential Qualifications/Experience/Competencies
- Experience working within a workshop environment in a mechanical discipline
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Ability to work to strict standards and procedures
- Ability to demonstrate a flexible approach to work
- Ability to function effectively within a team environment
- Effective communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent awareness of QMS/HSE Procedures
Desirable Qualifications/Experience/Competencies
- Hydraulic Assembly experience
- Experience in the operation of pressure testing and flushing equipment
- Swagelok & A-Lok certificate
