Production Supervisor - Aberdeen (Ref: 1268)

We are recruiting for a Production Supervisor to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the hose assembly workshops. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple teams of technicians over varied shift patterns to achieve output targets and meet and exceed customer’s demands. Applicants must have experience within a supervisory role and working within a formal HSEQ system (ISO9001, 14001, 18001 etc.)
Essential Experience, Qualifications and Competencies
- Wide experience in team leading / supervisory role
- Experience in a light engineering environment
- Working within a formal HSEQ system. (ISO9001, 14001, 18001 etc)
- Ability to work strictly to standards and procedures and drive this in others
- Strong communications skills
- Ability to work under on own initiative
- Strong organisational skills
- Flexible and adaptable
- Literate and numerate
- Strong problem-solving capability
- Strong team-leading and people management skills
- Ability to motivate and encourage teams

Desirable Experience, Qualifications and Competencies
- Team Leading VQ Level 2
- UK Driving license
- IOSH Managing Safely
