Hydrasun is pleased to announce that we have recently signed a new 5-year framework agreement with Babcock International Group for the supply, testing, maintenance and surveying of Hose Assemblies.
Hydrasun has had an established business relationship with Babcock spanning over 20 years, supplying various Babcock sites across the UK with Hose Assemblies and Fittings. This new agreement consolidates existing Hydrasun supply to sites at Rosyth and Faslane, and provides for further supply across the UK to Babcock sites in Bristol and Portsmouth, as well as the Devonport Royal Dockyard facility in Plymouth, which is co-located with HMNB Devonport – forming the largest naval base in Western Europe.
The overall contract will be managed through Hydrasun’s Glasgow facility, with a focus on delivering added value in a number of key areas, including:
- On time delivery performance
- Availability improvement and lead-time reduction
- Digitisation of supply chain and management of purchasing & technical data
- Management of standards to ensure appropriate standards are used at all times
- Innovation
