MoD Career Fair 7th November 2007

Hydrasun Ltd attended the Career Fair organised by Scottish Enterprise Grampian & Careers Transition Partnership which is involved in resettlement of service personnel on behalf of the Ministry of Defence. The Fair was held on Wednesday 7th November 2007 and was aimed at servicemen and women who are due to leave, or have recently left the Army, RAF and Navy. Over 400 people attended the exhibition, held at Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre, giving them an opportunity to speak to representative of the 25 companies who exhibited.

Susan Leheny, Group Human Resources Manager, Bob McAlpine, Chief Operating Officer & John Beech, Operations Manager (Defence) attended the exhibition, allowing them the opportunity to discuss existing and future opportunities within Hydrasun directly with the service leavers.

Susan Leheny said since attending the exhibition the company has received in excess of 100 applications from potential candidates for jobs from working offshore and our Technical Training Vacancies. Selection interviews for the positions are expected to commence early in the New Year.
