As part of Hydrasun’s drive to locally recruit skilled personal, Hydrasun attended the annual Oil & Gas Careers Event at Banff & Buchan College of Further Education, Fraserburgh. Hydrasun were one of 23 companies to attend the event held on Tuesday 12th February.

David Cook, part of the Technology Sector at the College, was impressed by the turnout of both multi-national and locally-based exhibitors. He said. “The support from local industry has been fantastic, and those who attended the event have benefited from being able to talk face to face with some of the leading engineering companies in the world – finding out about the challenges they face and the disciplines they need to meet them.
It was a busy night for all the Hydrasun staff involved, Steven Harris – Supply Chain Manager, Sandy Hutchison – Operations Manager and Frances Bruce – Recruitment Advisor, spent the majority of the evening talking with job hunters explaining the function of the company and the vacancies available. With the superb hydraulics courses run at Banff & Buchan College, it was a good place to get Hydrasun noticed in order to attract potential new starts.
Frances Bruce, Recruitment Advisor said “with the expected growth of the company over the next two years, getting staff at all levels is essential for the expansion and development of Hydrasun. Colleges are fantastic areas to start the recruitment process for newly trained and trainee positions”.
