Hydrasun acquires IFP Systems Ltd

As of 11th September 2008, Hydrasun has acquired IFP Systems Ltd, a hydraulic engineering company servicing the oil, gas and petrochemical industries.

Based in Rosyth, Scotland, IFP specialises in the design, engineering, supply, installation and commissioning of hydraulic control lines, primarily for subsea wellheads and production systems. The company also designs and manufactures flushing rigs and pressure testing rigs for the testing and commissioning of subsea production and control systems.

This acquisition has resulted in the formation of a new operating company, Hydrasun IFP Ltd which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hydrasun Group. This combination will enhance the overall service capabilities and offering of both companies and provide a stronger platform for future growth, both in the UK and internationally.
