Hydrasun Cambuslang now in its twenty-third year has firmly established itself as one of the leading hose and fitting suppliers in the industrial markets of Western Scotland and Northern England.
To compliment the wider Hydrasun Group, Hydrasun Cambuslang brings unrivalled service and quality through the following key areas:
Machine Shop Facilities
The Cambuslang Service Centre has three fully operational turning lathes which can produce specialist adaptors and fittings in carbon and stainless steel within unrivalled timescales. In addition we also manufacture and build manifold blocks and gauge boards.
The Service Centre, which is the second largest in the Hydrasun Group, operates from a 20,500 sq ft modern warehouse and workshop facility and is self sufficient in all aspects of Hydrasuns' core business with in house facilities for hose assembly, testing, welding and machining.
Welding Capabilities
We have two welders operating at our Cambuslang Service Centre and provide a full range of stainless steel hose assemblies as standard. We also offer small fabrication work to meet customer requirements.
Cable Manufacturing Service
Hydrasun Cambuslang offers a full range of Felsted Control Cables with inner cable and outer sheath fully assembled and end connections. These control cables are utilised within the Shipbuilding, Automotive and Engineering industries.
Although in recent years there has been a marked decline in traditional markets such as heavy engineering and oil fabrication the service centre has redirected its efforts more towards the Hi-Tech process industries and substantial investment was recently made towards the opening of our Ultra High Purity (UHP) division located within the Cambuslang Centre to service these new industries.
Another market segment which has brought significant growth has been in civil engineering where Hydrasun has been involved in many of the major projects over recent years.
More and more we are finding that our customers are requesting that suppliers of our type of product become more involved with the actual installation and this is where we find that with our expertise and skill levels available we are in a strong position to provide this service. A recent example being the supply and installation of pipe work on the test rig for the new Rolls Royce Trent 500 engine.

Our location in the rejuvenated Cambuslang Investment Park on Glasgow's East side with its close proximity to all the major motorway links, places the service centre in an ideal location to service our extensive customer base. This has been of particular benefit in the development of our On-site Mobile Hose Replacement Service which is another area of our business which has seen significant development over the past few years.
With more and more companies now looking to set up Supply Service Agreements Hydrasun Cambuslang is ideally placed to meet new challenges and with our Hose Management program now being carried out in such places as the Ministry of Defence it is the Added Value Support Hydrasun can offer that will maintain our position as Market Leader.
