Established in 1976 the Aberdeen HQ and Service Centre has grown into a highly successful, privately owned supply company with over 200 employees. From our international headquarters, Hydrasun exports to over 52 countries worldwide and promotes a coordinated sales, marketing and customer service approach throughout The Hydrasun Group.

The Aberdeen site boasts an extensive stock range and a full compliment of added value services operated from office and warehouse facilities located within Aberdeen city centre. Our location provides ease of access and direct supply routes to our customer base.
Main Office & Workshop Complex
- Office Capacity: 1109 m2
- Workshop Capacity: 11400 m2
- Yard Capacity: 400 m2
Within our Workshop area we undertake all hose assembly operations including pressure testing and complete in the region of 8,500 hose assemblies per month for customers worldwide.
Our extensive inventory of over 20,000 items are also housed within this area and this unrivalled off the shelf range and breadth of both standard and non-standard hoses, fittings and fluid connectors is a key differentiator between Hydrasun and the competition.
Within the workshop area we also have the following equipment:
- 4 x 750kg Gantry Cranes
- 8 x Finnpower Swaging Machines & associated tooling
- 6 x Hose Cutting Machines/ Tools
- 1 x Parker Polyflex Cutting Machine
- 4 x LP/HP PressureTest Beds / Units
- 2 x Hose Racking Systems
- 6 x Hose Reeling Machines
- Various other hose assembly tools
Our Extrusion and Umbilical plant is separate from our main office and warehousing complex and provides us with 1900m2 of space.
We house the following:
- x Lay-Up lines for hydraulic or electro-hydraulic hose bundles
- Extrusion line for oversheathing of Single Hoses or Multi-line hydraulic or electro-hydraulic jumper / umbilicals
- Machine Shop with 4 Turning Machines for manufacture of Hydrasun end connections
- 1 x 10 tonne Overhead Crane
- 2 x Hose Cutting Machines/Tools
- 2 x Finnpower Swaging Machines & associated tooling
- 2 x LP/HP Pressure Test Beds/Units
- 1 x Autoclave Coning & Threading Machine
Our extensive stockholding of the required components for assembly combined with our in-house capability to manufacture bespoke or specialist end connections in a range of materials means we can offer customers fast track turnaround and delivery of a wide range of umbilical assemblies.
