Babcock

Over the last 12 years Hydrasun has successfully supplied products and services to the Naval dockyard in Rosyth. Since Babcock acquired the Rosyth base, Hydrasun has established itself as the primary on-site hose replacement company and supplier of a wide range of fluid connectors and ancillary products.

Notable project successes in recent years has included surface ship refit work, where Babcock were refitting three aircraft carriers for the Royal Navy namely HMS Ark Royal, HMS Invincible and HMS Illustrious, as well as a batch of five type 23 frigates.

Our contribution to these projects incorporated direct supply of key fluid transfer products such as flexible hoses, together with added value services including technical support, on-site mobile support and the establishment of a component database for complete product trace-ability.
