In November 2011 Hydrasun acquired Remaq Ltda - a leading provider of hoses and connections for medium and high pressure, rotary hoses, choke and kill, as well as floating hoses and products for any fluid transfer to the offshore oil and gas industry in Brazil.  

Through the acquisition Hydrasun Remaq is now able to provide additional Hydrasun products and services to the Brazilian market such as integrity management, subsea control umbilicals and specialist hose applications along with other added value services including instrumentation, process control and hydraulics.  The company also perform hydrostatic tests on hoses, equipment, tools and various pipelines, onshore and offshore up to 60,000 psi of pressure.
